Hi! My name is Emma Hauschild!
I’m currently in my final year of obtaining my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University, where I will be graduating in 2026. Prior to this, I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Fine Arts (ceramics focus) from Ohio University in 2022. My love for art and creativity deeply informs the way I connect with others, and I hope to integrate artistic expression into my therapeutic practice.
I also bring experience from my work with the OhioRISE program, where I provided wraparound services for diverse age groups and collaborated with families and communities to meet client needs. In addition, I’ve volunteered with organizations such as PassionWorks and Project Onward, supporting artists with developmental differences. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to inclusive, creative, and person-centered care.

Who do I work with?
I am passionate about supporting clients within the LGBTQ+ community, including those who are exploring their identities and navigating unique life challenges. I value working with individuals across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds, including variations in culture, socioeconomic status, identity, and lived experiences. My goal is to create a safe, affirming, and compassionate space where each client feels seen and supported.

What approaches do I utilize?
I am eager to explore person-centered therapy as a foundation for my work, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship. I strive to bring a creative and flexible lens to counseling, drawing inspiration from art, mindfulness, and the connections between body, mind, and self-expression. I also approach my work through a trauma-informed perspective, ensuring that sessions prioritize safety and empowerment. My practice is informed by strengths-based and relational approaches, and I seek to honor the unique identities and lived experiences of every client.
